Hamilton-born NHL prospect Matthew Mayich continues to stay at an Arizona hospital after falling ill during an outdoor workout. Mayich is an Arizona State hockey player and a draft pick for the St. Louis Blues. He experienced the health scare while taking part in a team practice session outside.

Arizona State is examining the collapse of the player. Mayich is currently recovering in hospital while university authorities check the circumstances surrounding the outdoor practice. The player remains under medical care in Arizona as the investigation into the training incident continues.
