World Space Week 2026 is running from October 4 to 10 under the theme "Rocket Revolution," built around how falling launch costs could make space available to more countries and organisations. Google celebrated the week with a dedicated Doodle, while Adafruit got involved with the week.
The European Space Agency partnered with Pokemon GO to offer a limited-time Astronaut Pikachu to players during the week. Katara also took part in the event. World Space Week is the world's biggest yearly space celebration, observed across more than 90 countries.
