A series of Ukrainian drone strikes severely damaged Russian oil infrastructure, putting all major Lukoil refineries offline. Russia is unable to process or export oil as refineries can no longer process it after the Ukrainian strikes. The situation has left Russia desperately scrambling to seek oil imports. In addition, the offensive against Russian oil infrastructure triggered petrol panic throughout Central Asia.
Russia carried out major overnight missile and drone attacks against nine Ukrainian cities, including Kyiv. The Russian strikes targeted Kyiv and other Ukrainian cities, leaving several people wounded.
