Taylor Sheridan is due to pick up a History-Making Texan Award in Austin, marking his string of hit television and film projects. The creator behind Yellowstone is also being honored for work that goes far beyond the ranch.

Sheridan has written Sicario 3, now moving forward with Emily Blunt, Benicio Del Toro, and Josh Brolin all returning. He has also put together a Call of Duty project following his work on Lioness. His Yellowstone spinoff Marshals could link up with another spinoff, with conversations still underway. Casting is already in progress for Landman Season 3.
