Nikita Zadorov of the Boston Bruins was sat out for the game against the Kings as a result of penalty concerns. The Bruins had recently won five straight games, and a message from coach Marco Sturm was included in the announcement. Zadorov was in good condition but scrubbed for the game. The team's recent successful run continued with the decision to bench Zadorov.
