Michael Taaffe made his first NFL start. He walked off with his first career interception. The Miami Dolphins rookie safety grabbed a pass from Kirk Cousins on the opening drive of the half. Taaffe started at safety with Zayne Anderson. Dante Trader Jr. was not part of the starting safety duo. The interception arrived on the opening possession after halftime. It gave Miami possession for the opening series of the half. Kirk Cousins later threw his third touchdown. That gave them a lead of 24-13 at that stage. Taaffe's takeaway represented the rookie's maiden NFL interception of his career.
