Facebook whistleblower Frances Haugen is back in the spotlight as a new film, The Social Reckoning, reaches cinemas and streamers. Starring Mikey Madison and Jeremy Allen White, the film dramatises her decision to bring hidden documents to light.
Haugen spoke to journalists she has "extreme worry" about a shift in values at Meta and believes Zuckerberg is pushing recklessly forward with AI. She said she hopes the film moves others to come forward, telling The Verge she wants it to inspire more whistleblowers.
