Chase Elliott smashed into the wall on Sunday at the Brickyard 400. He came home in 26th place. The car hit hard but Elliott claimed the damage stayed minor. Subsequently, Alex Bowman revealed he will retire after 2027. Bowman’s exit creates a seat that may be filled by Conner Zilisch in 2028. Elliott exclusively talked about Bowman after his own crash, and avoided any driver reshuffle talk.
