Caleb Douglas played his first NFL game on Sunday. He and Chris Bell started at wide receiver for the Miami Dolphins at the start of the season against the Las Vegas Raiders. Douglas had a rough start. Later, Malik Willis connected with him for a 25-yard gain. The Dolphins kept their most veteran receiver out of the opener. That left the receiving duties to a young group. The team fielded a young group at receiver. That group was seen as a likely waiver-wire target before the game. The young group faced extra attention. Analysts also said the trio could make history among rookie wideouts. Douglas's only reception counted in the stat sheet for 25 yards.
